Volkswagen Touareg by Wimmer RS
Wimmer RS went to the woods to show off their latest tuning project, this particularly cool modified Volkswagen Touareg. The 7P5 Touareg seems like a good place to start off from, although the previous generation models was much more appreciated by aftermarket specialists.
Wimmer decided the SUVs clean lines and powerful engine could be improved upon, and transformed the vehicle in something that looks like an angry Golf Plus. Powered by 3.0-liter TDI, good for about 204 HP (201 HP) and 332 ft-lb (450 Nm) of torque, Wimmer specialists went for minor software optimizations, a Variant 3 KW adjustable coil-over suspension system, and a new set of BBS CH-R 21″ alloys.
As a result, the Touareg now benefits from a refreshed look, as well as from 240 PS (237 HP) and 525 ft-lb (712 Nm) of torque. You should also be aware of the in-house designed exhaust system and the garage’s lateral body vinyls; according to the skilled team, there are more goodies on the way, as the 3.0-liter TDI engine is set to develop 310 PS (305 HP) and 600 ft-lb (813 Nm) of torque.
In its factory form, the Touareg does 0 to 100 Km/h (62 mph) in 8.5 seconds and max out at 206 km/h (128 mph); an extra 106 PS (104 HP) and 268 ft-lb (363 Nm) of torque should really do magic to the performance sheet. In the meantime, please remember this SUV was meant for paved roads and decent driving conditions, although an off-road beast would make my day.
