Trophy Rat Pickup by Northrup Fab
A bit of post-apocalyptic aesthetic is always welcomed and appreciated, and the beast that looks almost alive in front of you is the Trophy Rat Pickup by Northrup Fab. Blending innovation with inventiveness, this custom truck shows off unique aesthetics meant to get us to drool – goal achieved.
Built around a blown 5.7L GM LS6 aluminum-block V8, the 1937 International pickup has kept its classic panels and nothing more. Equipped with an A-Arm independent front suspension, controlled by custom-valved 2.5 King coil overs, the Trophy Rat benefits from six inches worth of upwards suspension travel.
The machine worked engine develops 300 hp while a CBR Racing radiator keeps everything cool. The Trophy Rat also packs Nitto Trail Grapplers, affixed to a set of 17×9 TrailReady HD bead locks. It took more than 30 months to complete this unique truck, which seems difficult to define – hot rod, rat rod, trophy truck? Let’s call it fun and exciting, shall we?
