From Russia, with love! That’s right, these petrol-heads are in a league of their own; sure, they probably enjoy a fast and sexy supercar like any other bloke, but they sometimes go a very different way when building vehicles. Such is he case with the Trekol-39294, a powerful 6×6 truck. able to handle anything that nature, or traffic, throws at it.
The Russians seem to be using this truck to save people. The snow in some areas of the country can prove quite challenging, which is why a 6×6 truck comes in handy. The Trekol-39294 was made out of fiber glass and uses special low-pressure tubeless tires, which not only enables its victims to be run over without any harm, but also allows it to float on water, snow, grass and basically anywhere.
The six-wheeled amphibious all-terrain vehicle is available in two versions, passenger and freight. The 39294 model is manufactured using Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ) and Gorky Automobile Plant (GAZ) parts, which allegedly ensures easy operation, maintenance and repairs. The fiber glass body has a very low thermal conductivity and the possibility of operating at temperatures between -45 to +45 degrees Celsius, which – if you know anything about Russia’s climate – is quite necessary.
Capable of a maximum speed of 70 km/h (43.5 mph), the Trekol-39294 features petrol or diesel engines, as well as water jets to move through the water. I wonder if it has climate control?
