Tesla Model S by Brabus
Brabus has some serious skills when it comes to upgrading and improving upon Mercedes-Benz work. However, when they decided to develop a thorough tuning programs for a Tesla Model S, things got interesting. The German tuning company focused on improving aerodynamic and aesthetic features, since the electric motor underneath is out of the tuner’s league – no offense intended, it’s just the truth. However, this Tesla now looks as powerful as it is – 772 PS / 761 hp. Thanks to the sporting tailor-made aerodynamic enhancements the Tesla shows off some impressive looks; it’s well worth mentioning that all of these components have been developed in the wind-tunnel, using state-of-the-art 3D scanning.
You would imagine that the tuner would use carbon fiber for said body-kit, and you’d be right. Protected by a high-gloss or matte coating, said lightweight material was used for the side air intakes, the rear diffuser, and everything in-between. Everything was designed to deflect air, reduce lift and improve the cooling flow to the radiators. The Tesla Model S has also been retouched on the inside, where Brabus added stainless-steel scuff plates with the company’s backlit logo, leather and Alcantara, and a fresh center console, including a wireless smartphone charger. Anything else?
