Oh, yes! This year’s SEMA show saw the American car manufacturer reveal the Chevrolet Camaro Turbo AutoX Concept. The even sportier vehicle shows off a bright yellow exterior – Shock Yellow- with a fitting name, as well as black stripes on the hood and aerodynamic carbon satin color. The Turbo Camaro Concept AutoX will definitely stand out in a crowd, while also bragging about some improvements over the standard Camaro. For instance, the suspension system has been revised, including firmer springs, dampers and a ground clearance lowered by 20 mm. Please note the anti-roll bars increased in diameter and the 285 / 35R20 tires hiding 370 mm front discs with six-piston calipers.
The Chevrolet Camaro Turbo AutoX Concept has been equipped with a GoPro camera on the front, to help the driver record of all his or her crazy student – which, I hope, will be taking place on the track and not on public roads. Furthermore, the cabin shows off black leather seats, a steering wheel with flat suede and carbon fiber insert around the instrumentation. If all of this wasn’t enough to make it SEMA worthy, the car maker went for Under the hood, the 2.0-liter turbo engine delivers 280 hp and promises performance sans ‘lag’. I was hoping for a grunting V8, to be honest, but that’s life.
