Porsche Macan by Hamann
Hamann Macan is what some people might call this, although it’s not a new or forgotten language, nor is it a strange incantation. They’re referring to the latest vehicle to roll out the gates of tuning house Hamann, a Porsche Macan. Originally intended for suburban shopping center parking lots, this small and sporty SUV has become more popular than expected.
Designers at Hamann had other ideas, which is why they tuned-up the engine to deliver 310 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque. Furthermore, the Macan has received a wide body-kit including a new front fascia, grille, rear diffuser, rooftop and bootlid spoilers, not to mention those 22-inch alloys.
A custom stainless steel exhaust is also part of the custom package, resulting in a 0 to 60 mph time of 5.7 seconds. Once you consider them track-ready looks, you’ll quickly realize that this is more a 911 than a SUV; but, it doesn’t matter what you call it, as long as you like it.
