The talented people at Hamann usually take up BMW challenges, allowing the Bavarian vehicles to be way more impressive, and menacing, as usually intended by the car manufacturer. However, this time, the aftermarket specialists have worked their magic on the Porsche Macan SUV, the smallest of Stuttgart’s 4×4 range.

After hitting the market back in 2014, the Macan was meant to be more stylish than the Audi Q5 or BMW X3. I’m not sure that it managed to do that, although it seems to be more attractive on a performance level. Still, owners may feel a bit disappointed after paying even €100,000 to own one, which is why this modified version will probably get a lot of attention.

Hamann will deliver, upon request, a tuning package that will turn an SUV into somewhat of a sportscar. This is possible, as the kit is comprised of wider fender flares, as well as sporty set of bumpers – easier said than done, since this smaller SUV meant that each flared wing had to be split into three pieces, covering the bumpers, wings and doors.

The front bumper reminds us of the 918 Spyder, while the bright orange wing mounted right below the tailgate wiper stands out. Hamann also fiddled around with the coloring, as the Macan now features the famous Gulf Racing colors. Those 22-inch alloys seem a good of a finishing touch as any, not to mention the tinted windows and headlights, and a 4-tip exhaust system. Customers may also enjoy an upgraded V6 diesel engine which should develop around 300 PS. Not bad at all!
