Porsche 911 KAEGE Retro
People have been drooling for the Singer badge and their craftsmanship for a while now, and for good reason. However, that team never even got close to this outrageous vehicle, the creation of KAEGE GmbH. The Germany-based specialists developed the retro-looking KAEGE Retro, a Porsche 911 part of the 993 generation.
Showing off a classic physique, the Porsche 911 KAEGE Retro is backed up by modern internals from the 993 and an air-cooled 3.6-liter boxer developing 300 PS. On the inside you’ll find Recaro seats with tartan upholstery and a Becker satellite navigation system. Obviously, every square inch of this two-door sports car aims at perfection; just look at it.
Other components worth mentioning that allow the KAEGE Retro to be enjoyed as a daily driver include the six-speed stick shift, multi-link rear suspension, wipers, and OBD connector; did I mention the 993’s air conditioning system and the anti-lock brakes? The cabin also boasts a 996 steering wheel, which some of you won’t appreciate.
Weighing in at 2,634 pounds (1,195 kg), much of this Porsche’s body shell and go-faster components were manufactured out of carbon fiber. There’s more to this diet than that, as KAEGEmade use of a race-grade lithium battery as well, and a three-piece Fuchs-styled 17″ set of alloys. I love this 911!
