Porsche fans probably remember how it all started, and I’m not talking about that ‘people’s car’ Adolf Hitler ordered and which seems to be the base for all Porsche 911 vehicles – at least, in Jeremy Clarkson’s mind. Beetle fans need not apply, as I’m talking about the timeless and elegant Porsche 356.

This is the Porsche 356 Outlaw, which is Rod Emory’s ‘baby’. Him and his father have modified such vehicles since everyone considered it a sacrilege, hence the name of this particular project. This modern take on the classic sports car features no aesthetic mods, since it needed none. We can all agree that, after all these years, this Porsche is still beautiful.

However, it has been upgraded with new accessories and trim, parts borrowed from more modern Porsches, and a handful of performance upgrades. The result is an old car, a classic vehicle that is all about that cool vibe and old-school experience, but with a modern twist and improved performance. Perfect!
