Pagani Huayra Roadster
The Pagani Huayra Roadster has reached the Internet, and everyone is going mad about it. Revealed ahead of its formal introduction at the Geneva Motor Show, the Huayra Roadster looks incredibly beautiful thanks to the transparent blue carbon fiber finish, not to mention the three-tone interior – what could be a roadster be, but stylish? According to Pagani, the Roadster project benefits from sophisticated engineering, which might explain the 80 kg (176 pounds) diet. The improved torsional flexion rigidity was possible through the use of new composite materials and promises exciting driving dynamics.
The Roadster packs an upgraded version of the Mercedes-AMG M158 6.0-liter V12, which means 754 hp and more than 1,000 Nm of torque. The well-known seven-speed automated manual transmission, courtesy of Xtrac, is still handling power delivery. The suspension system has also been tweaked, now using a lightweight aluminum alloy called HiForg, designed specifically for this vehicle. Please note the Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, special Pirelli tires and re-worked ESP that promises five driving modes – Wet, Comfort, Sport, Race and ESC Off. Since this is a Roadster, Pagani will provide two types of roofs – carbon hardtop with a central glass element or a fabric and carbon cover. With 100 units to be delivered, $2.41 million each, one can be surprised by the fact they are all spoken for already.
