I sometimes have one of those day when purists ideas fly out the window and I’m all about hard-core and tough-looking rides. This is why, today, I think the vehicle before you is one of the most interesting cars Mansory has ever worked its magic on. This jungle camo-wrapped Mercedes G-Class Sahara Edition is based on the G63 AMG, and features a customized version of the Gronos styling-kit.

On an aesthetic level, the Mansory G-Class Sahara Edition includes custom bumpers, grilles, spoilers and wings, as well as four bespoke fenders. This all adds up to some extra 40 mm width of the car, allowing for a menacing look – surely, the camouflage and those 22-inch XXL alloys help with that.

Hiding under the mighty bonnet, a modified version of the 5.5 liter AMG V8 engine has been equipped with new pistons, connecting rods, big end bearings, crankshaft, crank, cylinder head, and various other upgrades. the Mercedes G-Class Sahara Edition benefits from 828 hp (618 kW) and 1,000 Nm (limited) of torque. The aftermarket specialist has not revealed any performance number, though.

Inside the cabin, the Sahara G-Class features marbled camouflage leather, as well as an embroidered stylized Falcon, custom steering wheel, and a huge armrest in the back! It’s quite possible there’s more than that, but you’ll have to purchase one to find out.
