Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² by Mansory
Some might remember that beast of a vehicle, the 6×6 Mercedes G-class that even the ‘Hamster’ on Top Gear was amazed by. However, the Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² is about as ludicrous as a stock off-roader can get, difficult to ignore thanks to the barbaric body and various beefed up components complemented by a towering suspension system.
The unique vehicle has become that more interesting once the team at Mansory were done with their work. This customized Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² benefitted from the tuning specialists’ skills and attention to detail, with Mansory’s tuning kit making it look even brawnier and threatening.
Please note the bespoke front end, including carbon fiber headlight surrounds, a carbon grille and a carbon hood with a protruding air intake. Furthermore, new LED daytime running lights on either side of the aluminum skid plate have been added, just to make sure this Mercedes doesn’t blend in.
There’s plenty of carbon fiber to the sides as well, with new wheel arches, door trim and door handles part of the offering, as well as electric side steps. At the back, carbon taillight bezels and carbon badging finish off the aesthetic details. On the inside, things remain restrained, with reupholstered seats and some extra carbon fiber and aluminum trim part of the customization efforts. A new ECU made sure the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine develops 479 hp and 710 Nm of torque, adding to the extra beats per minute of the driver’s heart.
