McLaren 650S Can-Am

This is the McLaren 650S Can-Am, and if the name doesn’t make things clear, allow me: this is a special supercar. The McLaren 650S Can-Am was meant to be an homage to the 50th anniversary of the inaugural Can-Am racing series. Between 1967 and 1971, McLaren claimed five consecutive championships in Can-Am, which inspired the special edition 650S.

McLaren initially showcased the 650S Can-Am in a color dubbed ‘Mars Red’ with a matte black bonnet, roof, decklid and rear wing and some white accents. Customers may also enjoy ‘Papaya Spark’ (orange) with various matte black components and bright blue elements, such as the side skirts and the seats. The ‘Onxy Black’ option, my personal favorite, comes complete with aggressive red racing stripes, white accents and red across the sports seats.

Some of the most significant features of the McLaren 650S Can-Am include a new range of lightweight carbon fiber components, such as the retractable hard top., as well as the new carbon fiber air covers on the front wheel arches and custom quad stainless steel exhaust system. The cabin shows off leather and Alcantara on the sports seats, as well as various other carbon fiber accents.
