Mazda CX-5 by DAMD
The Japanese tuner DAMD is not what some of us would consider a mainstream player, but they do deserve our attention, especially now that they’ve introduced this customized Mazda CX-5. Their new tuning kit for the Mazda CX-5 is all about aesthetic alterations; the Japanese SUV doesn’t have a turbocharged petrol engine, and the garage didn’t work on technical upgrades.
But don’t let that ruin your day, and lets focus on the project at hand. At the front, you’ll find a “protector” – a fancy Japanese word for the chin spoiler. To be honest, this was a bad idea, since it will easily get damaged while parking and it’s way too high off the ground to add downforce. Taking off might just be an option, at high speeds.
The custom SUV also features new side skirts and a rear diffuser, plenty of chrome and a new exhaust system. Inside the cabin, you\ll notice the new black leather covers with red stitching and upgraded armrest. The finishing touch is a set of massive 21-inch alloys, with a split spoke design. This may not sound like much – ’cause it isn’t – but there’s something about the overall design the got my attention. This Car has potential, and so do the people at DAMD.
