Jeep Rock Rat by Haük Designs
Jeep Rock Rat by Haük Designs delivers a brutal dose of a Steampunk madness, having made everyone’s day at last year’s SEMA Show. The team at Hauk Designs has enhanced the off-road capabilities of the Wrangler, as per usual, but it seems they have really outdone themselves this time. The Rock Rat was inspired by a 1947 Willy’s CJ2A body, chopped and stretched to look the way it does now. A diesel engine powers this beast, an old 12V from a school bus, refreshed by the people at Industrial Injections and Turbonetics. This is why it now develops 700 hp and 1,200 ft.-lb of torque.
Since it was meant to conquer all terrains, this Jeep rides on 44” Pit Bull Tires and B.A.D Beadlock wheels. Adding to the powerful and menacing vibe are the custom HID Projector headlights with etched skull logos, repurposed safety glass, and a shifter made from a 1960s fire truck pump handle. The Kicker Audio system embedded in the maple wood will try to compete with the engin4e’s soundtrack, but I doubt it could ever win. This apocalyptic ride was designed to scare people off and excite the driver’ who would say ‘no’ to that?
