Ducati 1199 Panigale by Ortolani Customs
Upon one glance, I realized that the Ducati 1199 Panigale by Ortolani Customs will redefine custom motorcycles forever. The Polished Ducati puts out a refined sense of luxury, complemented by Italian brawn and French styling. The looks alone hint towards some serious thrills, worth talking about all day long. Inspired by a concept illustration by automotive designer Holographic Hammer, the Ducati 1199 Panigale by Ortolani Customs was built using traditional metal shaping techniques; this means beat, rolled and shaped aluminum over wooden bucks. The shiny bodywork includes a fuel tank housing an airbox, fuel pump, and electronics concealed discretely.
The rear of the bike features a wasp-like tail, with an integrated brake light and a supple brown-leather-saddle by NMB designs. The team at Ortolani Customs went on to come up with comprehensive performance tweaks for this project, with the engine benefitting from a larger set of pistons, Akrapovic’s enhanced exhaust system and more. As a result, the rider has 210 hp on tap, with the Brembo brakes, including 330 mm racing spec carbon ceramic discs and OZ racing forged rims , meant to help with handling and safe pit stops. I wonder if radar waves would bounce off this polished bodywork? That would be cool!
