Chevrolet Camaro Spartan by SR Motors

Chevrolet Camaro Spartan by SR Motors

It took one second, and I was completely mesmerized by this Chevrolet Camaro Spartan by SR Motors. This restomod seems to look cooler than others; sure, there are probably some serious upgrades and modern touches hiding beneath that incredible exterior, but I respect the fact that the shop remained true to the spirit of the original. Based near Monterrey, Mexico, SR Motors is taking things a step further is definitely thinking about the future, and so am I – future projects, that is. In the meantime, let’s focus on the project at hand – feel free to check out the video below and experience the rumble of this modern-day muscle car.

The Spartan, as this restomod was dubbed, seems to have been inspired by the ancient Greek warriors – I mean, I can’t help but think about the masks warriors were wearing in the ‘300’ Hollywood movie production. Based on the second-generation Chevy Camaro built during the 1970s, this beast looks like Bumblebee’s gone to the dark side – I hear they have cookies, which might explain the move. The Spartan Camaro is just the beginning, although I’m sorry to say I got no relevant info on it – engine power, size, acceleration times; no matter, it still looks cool. Please note that SR Motors already have a ’68 Mustang, a ’64 Mercedes, a 1949 Chevy, and a ’75 Nissan Z already in the works.
