BMW S 1000 RR by Motokouture Motorcycles
More is always better, at least when horsepower is involved. BMW Motorrad will allow riders to experience 199 hp if you go for the BMW S 1000 RR, but some of us really want more. The BMW S 1000 RR by Motokouture Motorcycles is what the Belgian team proudly developed. Filled with electronics and built around a superb chassis, this BMW was stripped down to the bare minimum before the team installed a Garrett turbocharger with an electronic actuator connected to the ECM. You may not be able to see it, due to the custom-made fuel tank and air box having been added to the bike, but that turbo along with revised engine management software and mapping make sure this BMW delivers 296 hp and 145 Nm of torque. How does a top speed of 319 km/h strike you?
Cool stuff, and scary for some people. The work continued, with the team ending up designing new air intakes, custom exhaust headers, as well as adding a Spark muffler. I would say this would be enough, but not for this shop. Öhlins front fork internals, with ceramic-coated upper fork legs, along with a carbon fiber swing arm wrap add up to the magic of this customized bike. Rear-sets, clip-ons, and brake parts from Bonnamici complete the upgrade list, finishing up the performance-oriented two-wheeled beast. I’m currently looking into the pricing info!
