BMW R nineT by Onehandmade Customs
Anyone in the mood for sweets? Not for me, thank you; I’m on a diet, one that I’m prepared to ignore as soon as I get a glimpse of the BMW R nineT by Onehandmade Customs. You see, rumor has it that this incredible custom bike has been inspired by the chocolate-brown color of a Snickers wrapper.
The Tapei-based workshop seems to provide all of Rough Crafts‘ bodywork, which makes it already worthy of attention. The story of ‘Snickers’ is actually a mad one; the customer asked for a custom ride, and nothing else. Since the main man behind the shop loves Snickers chocolate, he went for the candy brown color of said sweet bar and here’s what resulted.
The project went on to become more than a fun and crazy idea; This custom BMW R nineT shows of a huge gas tank, designed to house a Motogadget dash, and sporting a gorgeous Rough Crafts gas cap, along with a skinny rear; everything in-between is good enough to eat – don’t do it, though.
The taillight features LED technology, while the front-end sports a hand-made number board, powered by two H3 fog lights. The driver will probably appreciate the high-rise bars, with Motogadget grips and bar-end turn signals, not to mention them Brembo controls.
Along for the ride are MX-style foot pegs from MS Pro, K&N filters and a GPR exhaust system, as well as a set of Pirelli Scorpion Rally tires. That mesmerizing paint scheme was executed by Incross Custom Art, with the deep glossy brown complemented by gold-leaf pinstripes. Delicious!
