BMW R nineT by Analog Motorcycles
Although the weather does not agree with me and motorcycle fans in general, as Spring seems to have been replaced with a mad scientist’s laboratory – one that loves cold, snow and so on – the BMW R nineT by Analog Motorcycles really gets my blood boiling. Anyone in the mood to ride?
There’s something to be said for having a modern bike in the garage, although some may appreciate beautifully restored vintage cafe racers more. However, I think it’s safe to assume anyone who loves life on two wheels will also love this modified BMW R nineT – courtesy of Analog Motorcycles.
The customer ordered improved hand controls and the soundtrack to match; other than that, it was a wonderful surprise to all involved. The bike was stripped, with only the intake scoop, the blinkers mounted on the oil cooler, and the valve covers remaining. The next step was to add Akrapovič 2-into-1 exhaust headers, with a Cone Engineering muffler acting as the finishing touch.
The team also fitted the bike with a pair of ABM clip-ons with Lowbrow Customs knurled grips, a Motogadget Motoscope dash on a custom-made mounting plate, as well as a tiny aluminum fly screen attached to the headlight bucket. Please note the gray and black paint job, with a subtle gold pinstripe; perfect for a night ride. The custom has also received a new tail cover with built-in lighting, new seat upholstery too, and the bragging right to a cool BMW motorcycle. Perfect day!
