BMW M6 Convertible by Noelle Motors
German tuners at Noelle Motors were displeased with the latest BMW M6 Convertible and its offering. As such, they went ahead and imagined some mods, under the lead of Karl-Otto Noelle – former head of engine development at Alpina. This all sounds promising already, doesn’t it? Well, you tell me: how does 766 hp sound?
Rolling out the factory gates, the BMW’s 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine develops 575 hp and 680 N.m. of torque. Noelle Motors installed their stage 3 performance kit, including software optimization and exhaust down-pipes with free-flow sport metal catalytic converters., enabling the same engine to brag about 766 hp and 882 N.m. of torque.
The software upgrade includes removing the car’s original electronically regulated speed limit, which is why the BMW M6 Convertible now reaches a top speed of 345 km/h. It’s worth mentioning that the Noelle Motors stage 3 performance upgrade is considered illegal in Germany, which means you may enjoy it only outside the state’s borders. The stage 1 and stage 2 performance kits, however, are a different story; customers may also go for mufflers, sport exhaust systems, a coil-over suspension kit and various alloys.
