BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition
It seems everywhere we look, we stumble upon yet another special edition BMW vehicle. The BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition you see here was developed to congratulate Marco Wittmann on his 2016 DTM driver’s championship. With only 200 units to be delivered worldwide, the BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition features extensive modifications compared to the standard M4., such as the same water-injection system as the M4 GTS fitted to the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine. As a result, the DTM Champion Edition benefits from 493 hp and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque, with the special edition to do 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and keep on accelerating until reaching 305 km/h.
Aside from the engine bay modifications, BMW went for a selection of unique styling elements. All 200 examples come in Alpine White, with a livery of BMW M’s three distinctive colors. Furthermore, the vehicle also shows off aerodynamic changes, such as canards on the front bumper, a large front splitter, carbon wing mirrors, side skirt attachments, a rear diffuser and a towering rear wing. Please note the matte grey wheels, hiding a set of carbon ceramic brakes. On the inside, this BMW comes with new M Carbon bucket seats wrapped in Alcantara and merino leather, along with an M sports steering wheel, a white rollover bar has replaced the backseat and various other Alcantara touches are also present. The BMW M4 DTM Champion Edition starts off at 148,500 euros ($162,926) in Germany, although I doubt you’ll get the chance to own one.
