BMW E39 M5 Touring
First things, first: the E39 M5 was never available in Touring attire, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make it happen. The BMW E39 M5 Touring you see before you required quite a lot of work, with a 540i wagon having been modified to look as cool as it does; it’s even for sale. The M5-swapped 540i Touring has 96,000 miles on the odometer, packs a six-speed manual transmission and looks like it means business. Please note the wheels, exterior and interior trim, as well as the quad exhaust tips reminiscent of the M5 Sedan.
Found in Evanston, Illinois, the German family wagon has received further attention from the owners. As such, the car features new valve cover gaskets, VANOS seals, brake rotors and pads, and oil pan gaskets. The self-leveling rear suspension has been set to match the H&R springs up front, while Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires handle the grip. The iconic S62 engine hides under the bonnet, which means a 4.9-liter DOHC V8 that now develops 394 hp and 500 Nm of torque – performance, exciting drives and enough boot space to carry around a spare engine.
