Aston Martin Vulcan
I’m thinking you’ve got plenty to do; so do I, but I’m just not in the mood to handle all that; instead, I’m feeling like driving a cool supercar. Sure, I can’t afford one, which is why I am left with daydreaming about something like the Aston Martin Vulcan, put through its paces around the Yas Marina F1 circuit in Abu Dhabi. The Vulcan is one of those highly desirable objects that everyone wants, but few can afford – well, maybe villains in James Bond movies and such, can. With only 24 cars scheduled to be produced, the Aston Martin Vulcan is set to become the ultimate track toy, if you can pay $2.3 million that is.
Powered by a 7-liter V12, good for around 800 hp (600 kW), along with the huge spoiler makes everyone realize in an instant that this beast was meant to live at the track. As such, high performance and incredible figures are to be expected for such a thing: 1350 kg, carbon ceramic brakes, a magnesium torque tube with carbon fiber propeller shaft, as well as limited-slip differential and Xtrac 6-speed sequential gearbox. This is a monster, bearing a stylish logo, and photographer Richard Pardon has managed to put out both of these vibes through his pics.
