Aston Martin Vision 8
Andy Palmer helped Aston Martin open up a new chapter in the company’s history and legacy in innovative design. Aiming to stay ahead of the competition and lead the way in performance, the company’s fresh philosophy resulted in the Aston Martin AM-RB 001 hybrid hypercar. Developed alongside Red Bull, the 001 is set to be a mid-engined supercar which will most probably redefine everything automotive-related and break all rules – in a good way.
The Aston Martin Vision 8, on the other hand, is what will come after that, what some refer to as the V8 Vantage of the future. Showing off a front grille and a hood inspired by the design cues of the DB11, the supercar also packs LED taillights at the rear – anyone else thinking TRON? Other important innovative features worth mentioning include the wraparound windscreen and the uniquely-shaped headlights. There’s no rear window since cameras will be handling that by then. The future looks impressive, but there’s no word on sound – a.k.a. the engine. Any ideas?
