Italian cars have always been beautiful, no question about that. But what’s all that beauty, without the roar we’ve all been used to? The stunning Alfa Romeo 4C seems to be powered by an engine not worthy of attention, let alone to be fitted onto the car. A mid-engine Alfa powered by a 1742 cc engine, good for around 237 hp does sound disappointing. Until now!

A beautiful sports car weighing in at just 995 kg (2,194 lb) should also show off blistering performance. Pogea Racing agrees with that statement, so they went to work and transformed the Italian beauty into the Centurion. The specialists added a re-engineered 2-stage motor upgrade to the package, translated into 308 hp and 435 Nm (320 lb-ft) of torque.

As a result, the Alfa Romeo 4C will do 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.9 seconds, 0 to 200 Km/h (124 mph) in 14.2 seconds and will reach a top speed of 301 Km/h (187 mph). The “Centurion” also comes equipped with a custom suspension setup, adjustable in height and hardness. This seems like a wise decisions, since with greater power comes greater responsibility and maneuverability issues.

On an aesthetic level, the garage has added carbon fiber front and rear bumpers, as well as a subtle rear spoiler and a rear diffuser with 101 mm tailpipes, offered in four different variants – carbon fiber or stainless steel; with or without flaps and silencers. Obviously, this package looks incredibly cool!
