I’ve mentioned this before but will repeat it to be clear: I don’t hate everything electric, I just find the automotive projects based on such technology without soul and possibly pointless. On the other hand, I stumble upon this motorcycle, dubbed the Aero E-Racer, which has been unveiled at this year’s Eicma in Milan. The Aero E-Racer motorcycle is the result of unique collaboration between Aero Motorcycles and InMoto magazine. Designed by enthusiastic craftsmen and Italian companies, this special project is bound to turn a few heads.
Based on the Tacita T-Race Diabolika rally motorcycle, the new Aero E-Racer seems to show off the best of both worlds. Powerful and meant to be used as a commuter-centric electric bike, this project features an aluminum tubular frame at the back, a leather saddle with a classic diamond pattern and contrasting stitching, as well as blue LED lights at the front. Packing a kevlar and carbon fiber body, the bike benefits from 34 hp and a 10.6 kWh battery pack that promises as much as 100 miles within an urban environment – impressive, considering the small size of the battery pack.
