2017 Toyota C-HR

2017 Toyota C-HR

It’s been almost two years since the Toyota C-HR Concept met us, and the company’s engineers and designers kept working all this time, only to reveal the 2017 Toyota C-HR – yes, it’s as close to the concept as possible. The official photos show a spacious, practical and quite impressive vehicle. I do not appreciate those futuristic, geometrical design lines, that make this car look vicious, like an AI machine out on the hunt. But, hey; that’s just me.

Based on Toyota’s new global architecture (TNGA), the one the latest Prius is making use of, featuring a full hybrid petrol-electric powertrain. It may sound complicated, and it may very well be, because we don’t have all the details yet. It’s well worth mentioning that this car was initially planned to be offered as a Scion in North America, but now that the name is gone, this Toyota will be available starting 2017. I’m starting to wonder, however, about differences between the Toyota C-HR and the updated Nissan Juke. How will those affect your decision?
