2017 Porsche 911 by Techart
German tuning company and overall automotive magicians at Techart have developed a fresh range of power kits, with a particular focus on the new Porsche 911 Carrera S and Turbo S models. As such, both models have gained an extra 60 ponies, allowing the Carrera to benefit from 480 hp (up from 420 hp) and the Turbo S to brag about 640 hp (up from 580 hp). The 2017 Porsche 911 by Techart also shows off more torque, specifically the Carrera S gains 80 nm while the Turbo S goes up a whole 130 Nm. As a result, the Turbo version will do 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.7 Seconds while the Carrera 4S manages to do the same in 3.6 seconds.
If you’re thinking top speeds, you should consider the fact that the Carrera will max out at 310 km/h while the Turbo will easily reach 338 km/h. Fun times aside, the entire package is set to cost 3,900 Euros or $4300 US for a TECHTRONIC power-kit. Once you remember that the ‘basic’ Porsche 911 costs about $130,000, you realize this is petty cash – but, worth every penny. Right?
