2017 Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet
The 2017 Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet is the latest from Stuttgart, a stunner set to be on display at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. The open-air 4×4 will tease many, although only 99 drivers will get to enjoy it. Speaking of which, the engine bay hides a Mercedes-AMG V-12 twin-turbo capable of developing 621 ponies and 738 lb-ft of torque. Now that the Mercedes-Maybach portfolio includes the world’s most iconic and prestigious off-roader, there are plenty of reasons to choose Mercedes-Maybach instead of other manufacturers.
The exterior shows off a chromed radiator grille, as well as front and rear underside guards. Please note the carbon fiber wheel-arch flares, while the all-terrain vehicle rolls on 22″ tires with twin-spoke alloys. An electric fabric top and portal axles will make sunny days that more enjoyable – the 100 percent differential locks should help with that. The cabin allows the driver and front passenger to benefit from a hardtop while rear passengers may go topless. An electric glass partition separates the front and rear sections of the vehicle – transparent or opaque. The rear seats can be set to a fully reclined position, with a business console with thermal cup holders between the individual seats also part of the offering. The question is: can you afford it?
