2017 Geneva Motor Show – Vengeance Volante by Kahn
The 2016 Geneva Motor Show saw the arrival of the Aston Martin DB9 VB9 Vengeance by Kahn, an impressive vehicle to be sure. However, the company just could not stay away, which is why this year’s edition of the show featured the Vengeance Volante. Aston Martin’s collaboration with the coachbuilder has once again resulted in a marvelous design, this time a Volante beauty.Simila r to the coupe revealed last year, the Vengeance Volante has been inspired by the Aston Martin DB9 although it seems to have taken its elegance way further – please note the wider fenders, thicker grille, and cool alloys.
The subtle body benefits from traditional British coachbuilding techniques, complemented by an interior covered in hand-stitched black leather. A convertible version of the Vengeance sounds easy, but it was quite a challenge. And, as you might have expected, only a limited number of drivers will be enjoying one of these cars, although I got no info on purchase costs. Being a bespoke vehicle, the sky, your imagination or bank account are the limits.
