2017 Geneva Motor Show – Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo Concept By Pininfarina
Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo Concept By Pininfarina – there’s a name difficult to remember, yet a bold image will stick with you. On display at Geneva, this fresh supercar bears the name of two-time F1 and Indy champion who decided to start his own line of road-going beasts. Granted, the Fittipaldi EF7 Vision Gran Turismo looks every bit as awesome as expected, not a surprise considering the champion assembled a dream-team to work on the project.
Showing off the magic touch of Pininfarina, this supercar will have a hard time going unnoticed, especially once you consider it benefits from the expertise of HWA. Showing off a carbon fiber construction, from the racing-style monocoque chassis to the menacing, this thing was designed to meet FIA motorsport safety standards.
Powered by a naturally aspirated 4.8-liter V8, capable of developing 600 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, the Fittipaldi routes power to the rear axle through a six-speed sequential gearbox and two-way mechanical limited slip differential. If that’s not impressive, bear in mind that this vehicle weighs in at 1,000 kilograms. Independent wishbones with coilover springs keep the fun at less than two and a half inches from the track.
Will Fittipaldi create a version of the EF7 that would be certified to drive on public roads? No one knows but, those of you for whom money is not an issue, this rare treat may be purchased along with extensive customization options and personal coaching from Fittipaldi himself.
