2016 New York Motor Show – 2017 Nissan GT-R
Designed to be the most significant update to the model, since it’s launch – back in 2007 – the 2017 Nissan GT-R features an all-new front fascia, with a revised V-motion grille and larger air intakes. Equipped with a restyled hood, supposedly offering enhanced stability during high speed driving, the car made quite the impression at New York.
There are few changes to talk about, but it’s worth mentioning that the GT-R Premium will feature a new titanium exhaust system, and that all 2017 models benefit from a revised color palette, including Blaze Metallic. The interior has been restyled, as well; designers went for a new leather wrapped dashboard, a revised center stack, and a new infotainment system, with a 8-inch display.
The lucky driver might appreciate the comfortable seats, new steering-wheel mounted paddle shifters, and Active Noise Cancellation system. With comfort in mind, Nissan also added acoustic glass and additional sound deadening material. Under the hood, you’ll find the bi-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine, tweaked to develop 565 hp – which is always good news. Come summer, the 2017 Nissan GT-R will be in a parking lot near you.
