2016 Geneva Motor Show – Mercedes G-Class Zeus by DMC
I’m not sure if anyone at Mercedes had a clue about the fact that the G-Class was about to become a cult classic while they were opening the factory gates. This is more than a vehicle meant for off-road fun, taking the kids to school, or for some serious shopping; in some cases, it’s a fully fledged performance automobile. Speaking of which, please have a look at the Mercedes G-Class Zeus by DMC
Part of This year’s Geneva show, DMC’s creation still shows off that boxy design and AMG-sourced engine we all love so much, although things have been taken up a notch. The Zeus is not really a new project, per say, but this mental creation surely deserves our attention, at least twice. The full-carbon fiber tuning project boasts huge wheel arches, making sure it stands out from a crowd.
Not to worry, this package is comprehensive, and includes the revised front fascia, the rear bumper and the added rear diffuser, along with various other interesting components. Customers may go for the clear carbon-fiber or painted version, although the first option is way more sinister – and, that’s a good thing! Please note the dark concave 24-inch alloys, covered by Pirelli P-Zero Scorpion rubber. However, all of that becomes irrelevant, the second you find out that from the 5,461 cc (333 cu in) V8 twin turbo engine develops 880 PS (867 hp). Objects in mirror are way faster than they appear!
