2016 Geneva Motor Show – Audi S4 Avant

2016 Geneva Motor Show - Audi S4 Avant

Audi is just one of those big names that jut had to show up at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, and they brought in their fresh Audi Q2; I’m more interested in the Audi S4 Avant, however. This stunning example in “Vegas Yellow” was on display, but there’s more to it than its bright, shiny appearance.

The Audi S4 Avant comes with a turbocharged V6 engine, mated to an eight-speed S-tronic automatic transmission. This translates into 354 hp (260 kW) and 500 Nm of torque, enabling the performance Avant to do 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds and reach an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.

This family car look-alike has been equipped with permanent Quattro all-wheel drive and a torque vectoring system, making this Audi one of the most road-stable performance estates money can buy. Once you consider the optional sport differential, tip-tronic gearbox and 19-inch alloys, you realize this thing will smoke most of the rides on the block.
