2016 Geneva Motor Show – Audi RS Q3
The Audi Q2 captured everyone’s attention at the Geneva Motor Show, although the company was actually planning on bragging about the new Audi RS Q3 performance. The third member of the RS performance family, the model shows off matte titanium accents and matching 20-inch alloys However, the Audi RS Q3 can also be had in an exclusive Ascari blue metallic exterior.
On the inside, we’re basically dealing with the same equipment and features, with leather and Alcantara sport seats with embossed “RS Q3” logos as part of the offer. Other highlights worth mentioning include a flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel, blue contrasting stitching, and carbon twill blue trim.
Under the hood, a turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine has been tweaked to develop 367 hp and 343 pound-feet of torque. Mated to a seven-speed S-tronic transmission and the popular and efficient quattro all-wheel drive system, the engine enables the crossover to do 0 to 62 mph in 4.4 seconds and keep it going until hitting 167 mph. Starting off at €61,000, the Audi RS Q3 performance is expected to arrive at dealerships in the second quarter of 2016.
