2015 Porsche 911 Turbo S by O.CT Tuning
Oberscheider Tuning GmbH – O.CT – specialists are famous for their reprogramming ECU skills, which translates into more engine power via the OBD-II diagnostic interface. I’m not sure what car you’re driving these days and if it’s worth their attention, but I do know they decided to work their magic on the Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S.
O.CT Tuning offers “stage 2” power upgrades for the Porsche 911 (991) Turbo S with corresponding hardware, which means that owners and Porsche fans may enjoy 669 HP and 880 Nm of torque – compared to the standard 520 (560) HP and 660 (700) Nm, coming out of the 3.8-liter horizontal-6 engine
Aside from the ECU mods, the car also features adaptation of the gearbox control software, two exhaust gas turbo chargers with variable geometry turbo charger (VGT), two modified air suction systems, two charge air coolers, a sports filter and the necessary TÜV or DTC (Switzerland) certificate. Customers may also opt out for a new exhaust system. The result? 2.77 seconds for the 0-100 km/ (60 mph) run, 9,32 seconds for the 0-200 km/h (120 mph) run and a top speed of 335 km/h (208 mph). The O.CT Tuning “stage 1” power upgrade for the 911 (991) Turbo S is worth 603 HP and 830 Nm of torque, by the way.
The Porsche 911 Turbo has not been forgotten, as O.CT Tuning offers 3 stages with 570 HP / 603 HP and 669 HP – with TÜV or DTC (Switzerland) certificate and warranty. The programming is made directly on the engine control unit, with supplementary software programming on the gearbox control unit included.
