2015 Harley-Davidson Sportster Seventy-Two
I’m more of a ‘70s chopper style fan, which is why the new colors the 2015 Seventy-Two Sportster get me excited. The 2015 Harley-Davidson Sportster Seventy-Two is not that different from the previous one, except for the looks and new transmission ratios. One way or another, we have to admit that every single Harley-Davidson bike is exciting.
The bike features the same barebone looks we’ve been used to, as well as some chromed laced rims, mini-apehanger bars, headlight casing, exhaust and engine. Harley will get you your very own 2015 in Seventy-Two in one of the following 5 colors: Deep Jade Pearl, Hard Candy Big Red Flake, Hard Candy Quicksilver Flake, Hard Candy Cancun Blue Flake and Black Quartz.
Let’s talk oily bits, and state that all the 5 gears have been lowered, with the 1st one dropped from 9.315 to 9.004, and the last one from 3.517 to 3.4. As for the rest, it’s all old news: a 1,202 cc Evolution v-twin engine, developing 96 Nm (70.7 lb-ft) of torque. According to Harley, the 2015 Seventy-Two is more of a city bike, but I beg to differ. You just can’t keep such beauty confined within city limits.
