2015 Chevrolet Colorado by Icon Vehicle Dynamics
Icon Vehicle Dynamics modify pickup trucks, allowing mere citizens such as my self to drive something closer to an off-road ready Trophy Truck than a utility vehicle. Their 2015 Chevrolet Colorado is aimed at putting to shame the likes of the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor, and that’s a tough challenge to accept.
The $4,147 Suspension System Stage 5 fitted onto the pick-up is available for the 2015+ model year Colorado and GMC Canyon. In addition to an increased wheel travel over the Z71-equipped Colorado, this package also adds an adjustable height feature (1.75 to 3 inches), tubular unable supports, FK rod ends, Eibach springs and 2.5-inch remote reservoir coil-over shock absorbers. The CDCV system (Compression Damping Control Valve)will allow the driver to adjust the firmness of the shocks for on-road or off-road driving.
You should know that the company will gladly offer you other suspension packs (Stage 1 – Stage 4), with prices ranging from just $1,805 to $3,601. If only this pickup would feature the 181-hp and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) 2.8-liter Duramax turbo diesel, that would be simply marvelous. Oh well, we’ll just have to wait for the 2016 Colorado for that.
