1979 Porsche 930 Turbo
I have to admit, the Porsche 930 Turbo has made my childhood way more exciting than expected and has haunted me ever since. So, you could imagine my excitement the second I stumbled upon this 1979 Porsche 930 Turbo. Powered by a 3.3-liter flat-six complemented by an air-to-air intercooler, t his Porsche benefited from 300 hp – in 1979! With only 64 miles original miles, the dark unicorn before you was sold last summer.
Unrestored, yet in pristine condition, this Porsche features factory sports seats, an electric sliding sunroof and a 4-speed transmission. Let’s just hope the original tires are still safe but, other than that, this 930 Turbo looks and probably feels flawless. The classic black-on-black color combination is complemented by sports seats, dark center anodized Fuchs alloys and the collectible status it deserves. Nothing else to do but envy the owner and keep on daydreaming of a day when I can afford such a jewel to rest in my garage.
